January-March 2026 Product Updates: Smarter Investigations, Faster Workflows, Stronger Signal Clarity

March 27, 2026

In Q1 2026, we continued to focus on helping compliance teams move faster, reduce noise, and make more confident decisions. This release introduces stronger workflow automation, clearer risk explainability, and meaningful performance upgrades across the platform.

Summary

This release introduces bulk alert disposition capabilities, enhanced PEP and criminal inference indicators, and major backend performance improvements. Combined with UI enhancements and localized time display, these updates are designed to streamline investigations, reduce manual effort, and improve clarity in risk assessments.

Key Updates

1. Bulk Disposition and Timezone Enhancements

Managing high alert volumes is now significantly more efficient with bulk disposition. Teams can close multiple alerts in a single action while maintaining full auditability.

Each bulk action supports a reason for closure that is captured automatically in audit lineage with supporting evidence and profile links, making internal reviews and regulatory audits more transparent. Exportable CSV reports make decision sharing and documentation easier.

We also rolled out timezone localization across the platform. All timestamps now reflect each user's local timezone instead of UTC, improving clarity and day-to-day usability.

2. PEP and Criminal Inference Indicators

We improved PEP (Politically Exposed Person) and criminal inference usability and data lineage to provide clearer, more actionable explanations for why a profile is flagged.

These indicators go beyond traditional watchlists by using inference models that analyze open-source data, adverse media, and profile attributes such as occupation and contextual notes.

  • Clear distinction between watchlist matches and inferred risk
  • Clickable inference results with supporting transcripts and evidence
  • Better visibility into why a profile is considered high risk

This helps organizations apply a stronger risk-based approach and supports regulatory expectations to identify risk beyond static datasets.

3. Performance and User Experience Improvements

This release includes significant backend upgrades that improve speed and reliability.

  • Faster search results and reduced latency
  • Quicker generation of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reports
  • Improved system resilience with upgraded queuing infrastructure
  • Fewer timeouts during high-volume workflows

On the front end, we introduced a more intuitive, evidence-driven investigation flow. Analysts can now move from alerts to supporting data faster, reducing review and disposition time.

Detailed Improvements

  • Bulk Disposition Functionality: Close multiple alerts at once with reason capture, full audit lineage, and downloadable evidence.
  • Enhanced Navigation for Potential Matches: Analysts can click directly into alerts and jump to exact supporting data within the profile.
  • PEP and Criminal Inference Enhancements: New inference models supplement traditional watchlists with deeper context and full lineage.
  • Improved Risk Classification and PEP Levels: PEP levels are dynamically inferred based on contextual factors such as occupation.
  • Timezone Localization Across the Platform: Screening events, reports, and audit logs now use local time for each user.
  • Consensus Lineage Enhancements: Expanded lineage views, hover states, and tooltips provide deeper visibility into contributing sources.
  • Backend Performance and Resilience: Infrastructure upgrades reduce processing times and support faster product iteration.

What This Means for Your Team

These updates are designed to help your team:

  • Reduce alert fatigue through bulk workflows and better signal clarity
  • Move faster with improved UI navigation and system performance
  • Increase confidence with transparent, explainable risk indicators
  • Strengthen audit readiness with complete lineage and evidence tracking

All updates in this release are now available to Minerva customers.
