July Product Updates: Screening Analytics, Sanctions List Source Selections

July Product Updates: Screening Analytics, Sanctions List Source Selections

By Jordan Bibla
August 6, 2025

I'm excited to share our latest product update! In July, we released a new screening analytics dashboard to provide visibility into your screening program’s performance over time. We also rolled out sanctions list source selection to provide control over which underlying sanctions sources you screen against.

Key Updates

1. Screening Analytics Dashboard

We've designed and released a new screening analytics dashboard to provide a view into your screening program’s performance.

  • Current Snapshot: The dashboard shows point-in-time profile metrics including total profile count, monitored count, and escalation, acceptance, and rejection rates, giving you real-time visibility into how your screening program is performing.
  • Historical Trends: Charts below the snapshot display how profile statuses are changing over time, helping you identify patterns and track performance improvements.

This new analytics dashboard was designed to help compliance teams demonstrate the value of their screening programs with clear, quantifiable metrics while identifying areas for optimization.

2. Sanctions List Source Selection

We've added a new tenant configuration page for admin users that allows customers to customize their sanctions list coverage based on their specific compliance requirements.

  • Source Management: Admin users can now deselect sanctions lists that may not be needed for their screening program, helping to reduce overall hit rates and focus on relevant risks.
  • Regional Filtering: The configuration page shows active and inactive sources and is filterable by region, making it easy to tailor coverage to your geographic focus.
  • Tenant-Wide Application: These selections apply to the whole tenant for both ongoing monitoring and risk assessment searches, ensuring consistency across your screening program.

Screening analytics and sanctions list source selection are now available for all Minerva customers. If you want to provide admin access for tenant configurations please reach out so we can update permissions in our system.

Most platforms don't meet FINTRAC's expectations for coverage of politically exposed persons (PEPs), and that leaves compliance teams with one of two problems: hits that never fire, or a manual search on every customer to cover the gap.
